Setting up the Alert-T couldn’t be easier using the step-by-step guide in the free Wireless Alert mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS platforms. Setup involves simply entering your contact email address, connecting to your existing WIFI network, and selecting your upper and lower temperature limits. Whenever the Alert-T detects temperatures above or below the limits it will send a notification email to the configured address as well as flash an LED indicator to visually notify any persons on hand. All this without the needing to pay for a cloud or alarm notification subscription plan. The Alert-T can monitor temperatures ranging from -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F) and have a typical battery life of up to 2 years.
