Services Performed
  • Gearbox pressure relief valve got stuck, not allowing fluid to travel to either side, pushing maximum power to the power steering pump. Power steering pump has some pressure as the hydroboost is working for the brakes. However, hydroboost only needs 300 pounds of pressure whereas the power steering requires 1800 pounds of pressure, so although we are getting some pressure from the pump, it is not enough to run the power steering. Will need to replace gear box and power steering pump.
